Cut 11 8' lengths of the Couture Jazz yarn. Fold each cut piece in half and loop over the dowel. Pull the cut ends through the loop and pull tight to secure the yarn on the dowel. Space these pieces across the length of the dowel. Group two or three together for a random look.
Use hot glue to attach the end two yarn loops to the dowel. This will prevent the yarn from slipping off the dowel.

Cut the rest of the yarn to the 8' lengths. Loop the yarn on to the dowel between the wider yarn. Continue until all yarn is hung in a random pattern.
Cut 3 10' lengths of Bernat Blanket yarn. Fold each in half and secure the folded ends together with an 8' piece of wire. Use a double thickness of yarn to braid halfway down the length. Secure the end with a knot. Twist a second, 8" piece of wire above the knot on the braid. This braid forms the hanger. Use the wire to attach the hanger 6" in from the ends of the dowel.

Set aside the yarn piece.
Lay the yardstick on the table. Lay the large flower spray stems on top of one another to create the base for the floral top not to exceed 32" wide. Alternate the stems from the left and right. Bend the flowers to face up, down or out. Remove any leaves that land behind flowers. These may be added back into spaces later.

Cut 10" lengths of wire. Use this wire to attach the stems of the flowers together. Spiral the wire in at least two spots on each stem. There may be excess length of stems. Keep the lengths unless they extend far beyond the 32" width. Continue checking the look of the flower grouping from the front.
Add in the more delicate spays around the large flowers. Trim each into smaller sections & pieces for detailing. Keep the stems long to insert into the wired stems of the large flowers.

Use a combination of wire and hot glue to fill in spaces with the variety of textured sprays.
Flip the flower top upside down. Center the dowel with yarn over the back of the stems. Cut 4 10" pieces of wire. Lay the wires one on each end of the dowel and two more about one quarter way in from the ends. Loop each piece of wire through the wired stems of the flowers and up around the dowel. Twist the wire tight to secure.

Flip the wall hanging over and hang on a wall. The next steps may be done on a table, although it is easier to finish the project vertically.
Use a hot glue gun to apply the leaves that were cut off the flowers to cover the ends of the dowel and any bare or unsightly spots.

Bend the sprays to reflect a more natural growth.
Cut the bottom edge of the yarn to an irregular pattern. Knot the ends of the thinner yarn to prevent fraying.

Craft Hack Tips and Tricks:
When cutting the thin yarn knots may be made in the ends to prevent unravelling during handling.
Cut 8" off the ends of all of the large flower stems before wiring together.
Keep laying the floral spray on a flat surface as additional sprays are attached. This will ensure the best attachment to the dowel.
Continue to flip the floral top from front to back to check the width and to make sure that each spray is secured.
