Instructions
  • Step 1
Gather your supplies! The good news is that you have most of these items laying around the house! This project can be done for around $10.
  • Step 2
Unroll your Kraft paper to your desired size. Make sure to leave extra space at the top and bottom of your paper for it to roll.
  • Step 3
After you have your desired size, cut your paper. Optional: You can also cut it vertically if you want a smaller scroll.
  • Step 4
You can secure your scroll a few different ways. I chose to use small clothes pins. It works great and keeps it secure.
  • Step 5
Now you are ready to start your wording. Decide what you are wanting on your scroll, and make sure to practice before you begin if you are a beginner like muse. Then, use a measuring tape to trace a light line on your paper. I also used a level to make sure my line was straight.
  • Step 6
Lightly write out your wording using a pencil.
  • Step 7
Now, trace your words with a Sharpie.
  • Step 8
Color in your wording and erase any extra pencil marks.
  • Step 9
Thread your jute cord through the top of your scroll.
  • Step 10
Get the your cord to your desired length and cut.
  • Step 11
Tie your twine together and cut off any access twine.
  • Step 12
Hang it on the wall, a door, or a window. I love that this project can go anywhere in your home. Remember, this can be done for any holiday or occasion.
